Hello, I am the founder of ibt - international business training, I have been living in Brazil for more than twenty years and my speciality is international consulting and planning and execution of personalized English courses for professionals.

I train entrepreneurs and start ups, and provide consulting services for national and foreign companies in the real estate and hotel industry.


I have more than 35 years of experience in these industries in five countries.

I work with professionals from different areas who have specific needs and cannot find institutions that offer this kind of training. My work begins with a careful analysis of these needs and then execute short-, medium- and long-term training that ensure rapid progress and relevance to my clients.

Since 2003 I have also planned and executed hundreds of training sessions for sales professionals, especially in the hotel and real estate industry in English and Portuguese.

A good presentation needs solid preparation. Gather the material you want to use, organize this material in a coherent way, look for quality slides and photos and prepare a PPT, or similar software.


Organization

The topics of your presentation have to be connected in a logical and coherent way. Use appropriate vocabulary!


Start strong and end strong

Capture your audience's attention immediately, engage with people, show benefits and at the end of your presentation do an impact action that your audience will remember.


Voice and body

For the love of God - Do not speak in a monotonous way, use emphasis on the key words of each sentence, use fluency techniques and do NOT always stay in the same position on the stage. Use body language and facial expressions to bring your presentation to life.


Fluency techniques

Learn how to apply several fluency techniques that will TREMENDOUSLY enhance your presentation in English and let the audience perceive you as a professional speaker.


Lots of practice

An impact presentation needs practice. When you are ready with the preparation, look for a trusted person and introduce yourself. Ask for feedback on content, body language, voice and other details of your presentation. If you want to learn how to present professionally IN ENGLISH, this is your opportunity.

This preparatory course for international certification is for people who intend to study or work abroad or think about immigrating to a foreign country where English is spoken as a native language.


The course focuses on the four skills - writing, speaking, reading and listening.


The time of this preparatory depends entirely on the client's current level of English but usually takes between six and eight months.


The course can be given in class and on Skype.
